Our
client, a long care house, is looking for 9 RN registered with the College of
Nurse of Ontario. They work as a professional team member to adhere to their
commitment statement and provide physical, emotional and respectful support
while following the individualized plan of care for each resident.
Every

Complete
certain tasks according to the job description that require time specificity
(e.g, dining, restraint monitoring and documentation).
·
All
other tasks are to be completed using a resident centred approach and philosophy
based on the needs of the resident on each shift. It is important that care is
provided when the resident requires it, rather than following a strict
routine.
·
Contribute
to the home’s Commitment Statement and support and follow policies, procedures,
quality initiatives & risk management items to ensure resident safety
remains a #1 priority. This includes day to day work as well as being open to
educational opportunities, in-service opportunities and committee
work.
·
The
Resident Bill of Rights & the Fixing Long-Term Care Act (2021) are guiding
principles in the care
we provide.
·
Our
customer service must be exemplary & our residents, families, visitors &
each other are our customers.
·
Answering
call bells is a requirement regardless of time of day or shift by all RN
Staff.
·
All
others duties as required
For
a perfect match :
·
College
(Nursing)
·
Eligible
for licensure as a RN in Ontario
·
1
year of experience in a similar position (in the LTC setting is an
asset)
·
Vulnerable
sector check
·
English
essential or Bilingual (French/English)
